To provide your child with a safe, clean, educational and loving environment in which they can feel free to learn and explore.  Please don’t hesitate to address your concerns and suggestions to me personally.  We are all here to serve you, and we do appreciate your input, ideas, and support.  Please inform management of any questions, concerns, or suggestions.

Responsibilities

Steps & Stages has an open door policy.  Communication is essential between the parent and teacher for your child’s success.  If at any time you would like to discuss any questions or concerns, please feel free to schedule a personal or telephone conference. If for any reason there is any type of complaint this is to be addressed to the director.  

Parents you are a big part of your child’s everyday life.  So why not be involved in their learning environment as well.  Activities that parents are encouraged to volunteer for, but not limited to, include projects, fieldtrips, and/ or holiday celebrations. This is an exciting time for you and your child.

Steps & Stages provides a safe and clean environment for all children attending.  In this effort all staff are required to clean play areas daily and sanitize their classrooms on a weekly basis.  Bed linens will be cleaned weekly by the center.

Under child care law, all staff of Steps & Stages CC is required to report any suspicious behavior of abuse or neglect. Please refer to the Summary of Laws included in your enrollment packet.

Steps & Stages does not hit, spank, or belittle any child.  Every child will be re-directed.  A brief time out may be used if redirection does not allow your child to regain self -control.  If your child continues to have a difficult time, this will be communicated with you, the parent, and a conference may be scheduled.

Steps & Stages provides nutritious meals with guidelines set by the USDA.  Breakfast, Lunch, and Afternoon Snack are provided.  All meals are provided by the center.  If your child has special dietary needs this will substituted and provided by the center.

There is an enrollment packet that is required prior to your child’s first day.

Please make sure that you have completed all paperwork and needed documentation at least 3 days before enrollment.  This is to ensure that all documents are complete and signed.  If there are any questions they can be answered at this time.  This is also the time that you may place your non-refundable deposit.
